    Unanswered: CPU Speed and Number of CPUs

    How do I know the number of CPUs and each CPU speed in mutipartition environment?

    What is the platform? It varies from OS to OS.

    This will be for ver 8.1 on AIX and Solaris.

    Linux: cat /proc/cpuinfo
    Solaris: "psrinfo -v"
    AIX: "lsdev -Cc processor"

    (I haven't done these in awhile, this is from my notes, hopefully they're correct)
