Unanswered: Is there a way to find out whether a text box on a form was clicked or not??

Hi!! I am fairly new to the database world..i have created a simple database that accepts various search criterias and gives users the desired result. Is there a way to find out whether a text box on a form was clicked or not?? I am sure this is an easy one but I just can't figure it out...

Have a macro or code attached to OnClick that:

    1) Opens a form at a new record and then sets the value of a time/date field for Now()

    2) Closes the form.

If there is more than one text box to be checked then have an extra field in the table supporting the form and set that value of that filed to be the name of the text box.
