    Question Unanswered: onspaces problem

Hi.Im new to informix. im expecting help from the informix gurus.

i have one instance named ol_maruthi.@NT Server
i have already one dbspace called ol_maruthi_dat.000 in c:\ifmxdata\ol_maruthi folder.

now i want add one more chunk to that dbspace.

    i used this command..

    onspaces -a ol_maruthi -p c:\ifmxdata\ol_maruthi\ol_maruthi_dat.001 -o 0 -s 50000

    im getting this error.

the file c:\ifmxdata\ol_maruthi\ol_maruthi_dat.001 does not exist.

how can i solve this problem!

    Do you have a file named : c:\ifmxdata\ol_maruthi\ol_maruthi_dat.001 ?
    You have to.
Onspaces will not create it for you.
Onspaces will just add it as a chunk to the DB.
