Unanswered: Websphere & DB2 - setting isolation level globally

Does anyone know how to set the default transaction isolation level for a DB2 JDBC connection under Websphere???

I set up my DataSource for the Server, but there's no option for it.... the only reference I've seen to it is in the EJB layer, but that's only for entity beans it seems. There's also a way to do it for a web app resource reference, but that doesn't apply to EJB components.

I also tried the db2cli.ini file, which apparantly is overridden by Websphere.

Finally I tried doing it through code, using con.setTransactionIsolation(), but that doesn't work if there's an existing global transaction, so we received exceptions.

    Any ideas??? Thanks.

This is on Websphere 5.1 on Windows and Linux, same behaviour on both.

    Type 2 driver.
