    Unanswered: Querying for duplicates

How would I go about querying my access DB to find out if any records have duplicates. For example, lets say I want to check the Hostname field for any PCs that have the same name.

Now to protect against this in the future, is there any built-in functionallity to make sure they cant enter a duplicate in the first place?

In the make query wizard there should be a find duplicates option that allows you to make a query that will retun all duplicated data in a given field ie HostName.

To stop anyone entering duplicate data in the field set the index on the field to Yes(No Duplicates) in the table design mode.

    Hope this helps
