Unanswered: SP Deployment Problem ...pls help
we are using the following Environment
OS : AIX 5
Db2 udb v 8.1 with fixpack 4 a
successfully created no of stored procedures in the development server and
created the binary files using
GET ROUTINE INTO FILE_NAME FROM PROCEDURE SCHEMA.PROC_NAME
after that i did ftp accross those files in binary mode to production server which is having the same environment as development .
but when I tried with this command
PUT ROUTINE FROM FILE_NAME its giving me following error....
SQL0443N Routine "SYSFUN.PUT_ROUTINE_SAR" (specific name "PUT_SAR1PARM") has
returned an error SQLSTATE with diagnostic text "-970, 55009, ".
I donno how to resolve this ...any suggestions will be highly appeciated.
If you are deploying the stored procedures as Instance Owner, then
1. Add the Instance Owner to the Fenced User's Group
2. Bounce the Instance
i am not sure how to do the same which you have suggested .
Need your more input for the same . I am struggling with this problem....
I am assuming the following
Instance Owner : db2inst1 Group : db2grp1
Fenced User : db2fenc1 Group : db2fgrp1 Group ID : 103
The Stored procedures are owned by Instance Owner (db2inst1)
As a privileged user, edit /etc/group and add db2inst1 to db2fgrp1. The entry should look like the following
Save the changes.
Login as Instance Owner. Shutdown and Start the database.
Ensure that the Production and development database are running the same version of DB2 and Fixpack Level.
Thanks you so much .... the problem got resolved .
