What is the difference between an exclamation point and a period? For example, what is the difference between Me![Attribute] and Me.[Attribute]?

(!) is used when you are stepping from a collection to one of its member, in the format CollectionName!objectname ie it denotes the item to follow is an element of a collection e.g. forms is a collection to get its one of its form you'll use Forms!FormName

(.) is used when you are stepping from an object to one of its properties, collections or method name in the format objectname.collectionname e.g a text box is an object while visible is its property so we' write txtName.Visible

    Hope that'll help
