    Unanswered: Autonumbers out of control

Hi I have a database that tracks qualifications in my work center and until recently it has worked very well but something has happened to my Add New Record table. The auto number no longer counts 1,2,3,4,etc... it has jumped from a 3 digit number to a nine digit number, to make matters worse these new records that are added with these really long auto numbers do not come up in a requery.

Does anybody know what is going on here? I really appreciate your help.

    Mike

No there are no relationships in this db. It is really weird, I have 2 other db that do work. I have deleted and reinstalled command buttons and cut and paste code that works on the other 2 db. I will make a smaller version of this db and post it, maybe someone will see the obvious error.

    Thanks Mike

I got it figured out, I guess that I was staring at the screen too long and I didn't see the obvious. Went and got me a "Dew". All is better not db works.

    Thanks
