    Question Unanswered: Order By sorts in VB6 with .mdb and SQL

    What i'm trying to accomplish is a secondary sort on another field.
    the .mdb has 3 fields, one of the fields is a DATE, the other two are FIRST and LAST

    1. sort by dates using SQL returning all the fields for 20 most recent records.

    this result is put into a recordset rstTemp. This part is working correctly.

    However, now i want to alpha sort on another field and put the 20 records in a recordset. How can this be done?

    Do you want to put the new results in a new recordset?

    Set Recordset2 = Recordset1.Clone

    Recordset2.Sort = "First"
