    Unanswered: Appending non-matching records

I would like to compare two tables (table 1 & 2) and would like to create a third table(called table 3) consisting only of non-matchings records in table 1 and subsequently would like to append the records of table 3 into table 2 (after making them unique). Could you please get me the codes for this.

    Thanks

Are you looking at just one field or for all records in Table1 that aren't fount in Table2?

first step is to play with the query wizard... find unmatched.

once you have what you want as unmatched records, an append query will do the rest of the job for you.

the difficult part is finding unmatched records that fit your definition of "unmatched": the wizard will talk you through it.
