    Unanswered: wait until change

    if isnull(field) msgbox
    more code

presently after displaying the msgbox my code continues to run
what i need to do is, if it is null, it should wait for the field to be changed and then run the later code

    any suggestions
    thank you

What event are you running the check in?

Wherever the check is, you could set focus to the target box, then put some code in the OnLostFocus event to trap the user until they give input:

    Code:
    If IsNull(Field) Then
MsgBox "Please enter value for Field."
       Field.SetFocus
    End If
    Code:
    If IsNull(Field) Then
MsgBox "You may not continue until you enter a value into Field."
       Field.SetFocus
    End If
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
