    Unanswered: how to save data from a form

    I have a subform that display the main information about person (name, surname, email), if the user want to add or see other information (country, title, ...) it needs to click a "details" button and the form with all the fields will pop up. The problem is that if the user is adding a new person and clicks the button the popup form is empty.
    I tried to solve this by requering the person main information form, but then it will move to the first record instead of staying to the one that is being added. Another solution it would be to somehow save the data before opening the pop up form but I don't know how to do it.
    Any suggestion?

    Read up in "Input Parameters". Essentially you can enter a statement in the "Input Parameter" property of a form to specify criteria for the form. In this case, it may look something like this:

    [KeyField] = forms!yourMainForm!KeyField.value
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
