i use the getnew and getdaily searches, because i'm interested in the posts in a good half dozen database forums

is there any way we can suppress the usenet forums?

there's no way i'll ever post in one, i don't even read them, but sometimes it seems like there's nothing but pages and pages of them

i'll take any other suggestions for dealing with this, too

but please don't suggest i should drill down into each forum i'm interested in from the home page, that's just as much trouble as paging past all the usenet posts in the getnew and getdaily searches
