I posted a couple of messages a few months ago which got good replies but now, the messages are empty (no content)!

Its a known problem with the site. ITech are supposed to be working on a fix, the jury remains out on whether the fix will resolve the issue for previous posts, but y'never know.

There have been many hurdles to overcome since the new owners took over and decided to help re-invigorating the site, this is just one of them.
