Make no difference.

Makes no difference to my dbforums experience but degrade my Usenet experience as posts do not get to the Usenet group as claimed on the dbforums home page

Usenet Groups
These forums are gateways to selected database related usenet newsgroups. You can now reach the many thousands of usenet users without having to grapple with complicated news software and with the need to pay for a newsfeed. Any posts you make in these forums will be propogated to usenet.

I suggest you remove the Usenet groups from dbforums unless it is actually working.

i.e. I'll rather use

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.unix.solaris or
http://groups.google.com/group/comp.unix.shell

instead of the problematic

http://www.dbforums.com/a/ or
http://www.dbforums.com/a/

respectively (and there are more)

Have you tried them lately? We know there was a problem. But we've overhauled that whole system. Is there still a problem?
