Accessing an Archived Q&A

I am trying to access an archived DBForums Q&A; I asked for advice from a "moderator" user - "pootle flump" - and they also cannot access the link. Can anyone help me get into the access link (shown below). I get a message "not authorized". Links are below; - thanks: H. C. Reid

This is a VERY old message. There's a chance that it could be resurrected, but not a high probability and definitely not in the next few hours. I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise anything.

Accessing Archived Q&A

This a reply to the question posted at 5:06 yesterday; "Do I remember if that (link) was posted to the old usenet forums?"

I am not familiar with DBForums "usenet" forums. I found the link about "MMD.386" problems with Powerstation Fortran via Google. I tracked it down when I logged on to DBForums by going to "FORTRAN -> Index" an finding a link listed (the link I included in my message) within this indexed file. Again that link led me to the 2nd which would not permit me to open the file Those links are listed again below.

The usenet forums were removed a couple years ago. You can see what they were via archive.org.

I'm sorry for the confusion. We'd get the cached results removed from Google, but I've been unable to duplicate using the information provided above. Do you remember the exact term you used when searching google?

Apologies again, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Accessing an Archived Q&A - Reply to Question

It took me some time to recreate what I had done. Here goes: I queried Goggle "Fortran PowerStation mmd386 error xp" where I found a link to "http://fortran.itgroups.info/archive/69/". From this page (which had nothing on the issue), I stepped into "Archive" and backed up until I got to "Index < Archive Home < Fortran Archive < page 2". Line 86 of this page has a link entitled "MS Powerstation Fortran 1.0a under Win Xp". This leads to a "thread" (still in "fortran.itgroups.info") that says -

"This question has been asked and answered earlier. See --
http://www.dbforums.com/archive/index.php/t-914554.html
-- mecej4"

Thats how I got to DBForums. My apologies that I did not explain this earlier.
