Faq

Hi,

It would be nice if some forums have FAQ page, where everybody can add answers for freq asked questions.

i think this sounds ok, maybe there could be a seperate section for faq with oracle, sql, db2, etc threads in which people (read moderators) could post answers to faqs. everybody else could then read these.

Hi,

I would give all the logged forums' vistors right to edit and add new entries in FAQs.

Just my 2 cents.

Sounds like a good idea. I'll work on it at the weekend.

the only reason i said moderators only to post, is because otherwise with the amount of users, there may be data repeated - just because there would be so many entries. for example i am sure most of the questions or at least some in the big forum sections have been repeated at some stage. It was just an idea to try to stop that happening. There could be some system of pm sending to the moderator of the faq or realavent section requesting that a certain question/answer be added rather than the person adding it him self.

Just a thought....?!? <---maybe a bad one...!
