I don't see why not.

It'll have to wait a week or so. Over the next week or so I'll be moving everything to a new server so I'll do it at the same time.

The new server will also take care of the frequent 'lock-ups' we've been seeing during peak times.

hktang,

Can you write up a little paragraph to be used as the description for the new .NET forum.

I still haven't a clue what it's really all about.

hktang/Paul -

Great idea - I found myself answering a question on an asp.net forum and was thinking the same thing. I have already seen a few trickle into our asp forum.

Hi Paul,

Sorry for the late reply.

Here is the paragraph. Hopefully this helps

==============================================
Microsoft.NET initiative is a business strategy focusing on providing software as a service hosted on the Internet.

For end users, .NET aims to simplify the process of accessing and storing information by describing data in a platform-independent way (via XML) on a universally accessible medium (the Internet).

For developers, .NET brings with it an entirely new framework, along with new languages and programming tools.
