I have a proxy database that in master..sysdatabases where the proxy exists has this values:
def_remote_type def_remote_loc status3
1 db.[db_name].. 4
I've read in Sybase page that the value in the column status3 MUST be 2 for a proxy DB.
I've made the change of that value but when I run an ALTER DATABASE FOR PROXY UPDATE that value come back to 4 an all the tables and its data dissapears...
HELP PLEASE!!!

The status3 column in sysdatbase is 4 instead of 2 .(as u read in sybase books). But i think it is not a problem.
