Is there an equivalent "alert.log" file in SYBASE ?

Hello,

Oracle has an "alert.log" that indicates the Database startup, shutdown and error event. Is there such a file in SYBASE ?
.
I looked for an errorlog file but could not find any, I also tried "select @@errorlog" but it did not work.
Any feedback is welcome, we are using Sybase server anywhere 8.0.3
.
Thanks
