Hi all,

We have a client that uses Microsoft ISA and has internet routing completely turned off except for connections through a proxy through the ISA> On his machine if he disables the network and starts our application, it comes up immediately. If he enables the network adapter, our application then takes about 1 minute before you see it completely start. The ONLY difference between the previous version of our app and this version is we moved from SQLAnywhere 8.0 to SQLanywhere 11. It is almost like the database is attempting to make a call out to the Internet and does not allow the program to continue until the network call times out.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and a way to prevent it from happening?
