Translate

I am trying to find out an equivalent function for translate(oracle) in sybase.
For ex:
Translate('hello','heloijk','aabqcrf')
changes hello to aabbq.
Can u give me an equivalent function in sybase.

You'll have to create your own function or copy from
_123 TSQL functions updated 09-08-2002 by Joseph Gama
