hi

I have downloaded the sybase from the link :
ASE 15.5 Developers Edition Download page Thank You Page: - Sybase Inc

I downloaded both

* ASE 15.5 Win x86
* ASE 15.5 Win x64

but non them is installing on my system

The ASE 15.5 Win x86 is not even installing on my system giving error after the installation & reporting as installation failed.

& the ASE 15.5 Win x64 is installing but at the time of configuration giving error:
the configuration failed because the side by side configuration is incorrect.

my system configuration is :
OS : windows vista
processor : intel core 2extreme @3GHz
RAM : 8GB

in ASE 15.5 Win x64 I tried to find why this error is coming in event viewer of windows I found that it is searching for AMD processor.

I want to know that is these sybase is not compatible with intel core 2 extreme processors
& if they are compatible then how to overcome my problem & install the ASE

please help me as soon as possible.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package
and KB973544
