Question Accessing Sybase from application...

I'm trying to migrate Sybase with AIX to Sybase with Linux, due to high maintenance cost of AIX.

Had successfully installed Sybase 12.5.4 on Redhat linux 2.4.2-2. Also had loaded one of the database into Sybase with Linux. Had also tested with SQL Advantage to retrieve the table and view the data inside the database.

Had made some changes to point my application to Sybase with Linux. Unfortunately, when I tried to log into my database, it shows "Unable to connect to the database".

What am I missing?

Please help. Thank you.
