We are planning to implement Sybase standby database feature using standby log backup and making database online for standby access.
Is there any one who has implemented this feature ?
I would like to know how they have implemented it.
What challenges they faced/facing?
How do they troubleshoot if anything goes wrong ?

Any case studies, links (not sybase help) will help.

We are planning to use cron job; this will keep on taking log backups after some interval and keep them loading
