I'm running a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 OS on a pc with 4 GB ram, Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66ghz processor, and trying to install Adaptive Server 15.7 but everytime it tries to boot up, it just says:

Waiting for server 'desktop_pc' to boot...

And it never ends, I checked documentation on Sybase site, but all it says is that It might a problem related to the shared memory on the computer, I really don't know where to check it in order to increase/decrease it, If I go to Advanced settings on Windows, I can see that pagination file is about 4091 MB, please help me out, I'm stucked right now, thanks in advanced!!

Is there anything in the errorlog of your dataserver??
