Unhappy Sybase Central (JISQL Error) 12.5

Hello,

I can use JISQL by directly going to the batch file (and everything works fine, it prompts me for the login, port, etc...), but if i try to access it from Sybase Central. I get the error that the JISQL class is not in my classpath. Clicking "ok" on that error another popup window appears saying:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com/sybase/jisql/Jisql ...

What should I do?

I've installed JConnect, have the Java plugins(RE/JDK/).

I've also updated the JRE_DIR
and Environment variables.

i just don't understand why i can access JISQL directly but not from within the Sybase Central Gui

Please Help
Thank you!!!

Hiya dhooper,

Looks like a bug in Sybase Central or the JVM that you are using.

Log a bug report with Sybase Support.

Cheers
Willy

Re: Sybase Central (JISQL Error) 12.5

I have posted elsewhere in this forum the same answer. Try changing your class path with dos directory name instead of windows. For example
C:\sybase\jutils_2-0\jisql should be C:\sybase\jutils~1\jisql, in your class path. It worked for me.
