hi all

Is there anyway i ca convert a date of the form: 30/12/2002 to a datetime field in perl?
the convert function fails as gives me arithmetic overflow because for conversion to datetime the format has to be of the form : 30-Jan-02 that is the month 'name' should appear
Please help if anyone knows how I can convert the above form to datetime format either in sql or from perl code..

oops prob solved already..!
guess was just a little hasty in posting the message....just used the convert function codes for datetime to convert..worked beautifully!
