I want to know whether the following policy is good?

we use the sybase mobilink to do the synchronization, the custom need the informix db can not link sybase mobilink directly.the mobilink link the cache db(sql anywhere) and the sql anywhere link the informix db. we should do some synchronization in this way by ourselves.
if it is good ,how can I do it?

The consolidated database for MobiLink does not have to Sybase ASA, it can be any ODBC-supporing DBMS.
