Hi ,

When i am doing cat of a file from a shared area the message is coming
"tty: : No such device or address"

Please , anybody could help me how to not show this message .

1. to what kind of tty you want to cat a file ?
blockdevice or charakterdevice
2. do you see the device in /dev ?
3. look at the permissions of the device.
4. show me a screenshot from "ls -al /dev/ttyxxx" you want to write
5. show me the command you type on the shell
