Cool Setting administrator privileges...

I am running into problems with my Cygwin installation on Windows 2000 with regard to having administrator privileges. I believe that some of my other programs (Ex: cron) are not functioning properly due to the fact that my user does not have administrator privileges. Before I say more, here are some return values to some basic commands:

id = uid=500(Administrator) gid=513(None) groups=0(root),513(None),544(Administrators),545(U sers)

WhoAmI = Administrator

mkpasswd -l = SYSTEM:*:18:544:,S-1-5-18::
Administrators:*:544:544:,S-1-5-32-544::
Administrator:unused_by_nt/2000/xp:500:513:U-AUTOTEST\Administrator,S-1-5-21-193
5655697-1580436667-854245398-500:/home/Administrator:/bin/bash
ASPNET:unused_by_nt/2000/xp:1000:513:ASP.NET Machine Account,U-AUTOTEST\ASPNET,S-1-5-21-1935655697-1580436667-854245398-1000:/home/ASPNET:/bin/bash
Guest:unused_by_nt/2000/xp:501:513:U-AUTOTEST\Guest,S-1-5-21-1935655697-1580436667-854245398-501:/home/Guest:/bin/bash
root:unused_by_nt/2000/xp:1001:513:Cygwin root account,U-AUTOTEST\root,S-1-5-21- 1935655697-1580436667-854245398-1001:/home/root:/bin/bash

mkpasswd -g
Administrators:*:544:544:,S-1-5-32-544::
Backup Operators:*:551:551:,S-1-5-32-551::
Guests:*:546:546:,S-1-5-32-546::
Power Users:*:547:547:,S-1-5-32-547::
Replicator:*:552:552:,S-1-5-32-552::
Users:*:545:545:,S-1-5-32-545::

Right now when I am using Cygwin I am logged in as "Administrator", although I am not sure if this user has administrator privileges. Do you know how I can verify that the "Administrator" account has administrator privileges, and if it doesn't how can I grant them? I am hoping this is just a rookie mistake of mine....

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
