sqlplus ACCEPT PROMPT to work from ksh

Hi,

I have a shell script which calls a sql script, which gets initiated fine, however the ACCEPT PROMPT commands do not work. This only occurs when the sql script is called from within the shell script, when run from the SQL prompt the ACCEPT PROMPT works fine. Has anybody come across this before? Cheers.
