I have to complete my assignment and i need help...

These are two simple shell script programs :

1.) Write a shell script to display files in the current directory in the following format :

FileName Size Date Protection Owner
_______ ____ ___ ________ _____


2.) Write a shell script to display the following menu. It should take following action when an option is selected.
(i) To convert uppercase to lowercase letters for a given file
(ii) To print a file in reverse.
(iii) To find frequency of particular word in file.
(iv) To split the file
(v) Display file with zero size and write permission 'ON'
(vi) Quit


Please write a shell script for these two programs. I have to submit my assignment 2morrow. I would be grateful to u all people and dbforums.com forums.

How about trying to solve your exercises yourself instead of asking others to do the work for you? The idea is that you learn this stuff and not to learn asking others for it.
