Test Oracle Database Connection using KShell
Hi All,

I have database username, password, databasename and port number like

xyz/abc@ind:1561

From unix k-shell i want to test the connection. Please send me some sample script.

Its very urget.

I got this req. becos i am executing the Oracle Stored Procedure without testing the DB connection. First i want to test and do what i want to.

Please help

First set the SQLPLUS path:-

Then connect it "sqlplus xyz/abc@ind"
