Hi to all expert,

i have a one problem regarding to do checksum with a date,
i have table A with cheksum for birthdate + lastupdatedate+accountregdate..
the problem is,how i want to convert the date to JULIAN date and do the comparison,if not match i have insert as a 0 and if match i have to insert 1....


Can anyone help me!!

What kind of file are you using, and which shell are you using?

It seems peculiar that this is essentially the same question you posted earlier today in another forum. Can you explain what you are really trying to do?

Actually im new in db,and my job now is to do transfer data from old system to new system and the data in old system around 10million data transaction...

What im have to do now at TABLE A,i have information like accnumber,scheme,identitycardno,unitholdername.... .......birthdate,lastupdatedate,accountregndate...

All data already upload into TableA at new system,and i have to do checksum with date after i convert to julian date..

what i have to do now is to compare with data before upload from text file,match or not with original text file...
