Unhappy find IP address of machine that started a PID

For reasons to dumb to go into here...I need to start with a PID and work my way back to the IP address that started the process. Anyone know how I can do this without any 3rd party software/shareware? I really need to stick with native OS stuff available if possible.

I am running AIX 4.3.3, but if anyone knows how to do it with aother flavor of Unix I would love to hear about it anyway and maybe I can reverse engineer into Aches...errr...AIX.
-thanks
