Can u help me programming the SMTP in the LINUX flavour.

For what purpose?

For example if you want to sending e-mail directly from the system or from some scripting language (PERL, PHP or whatever) you need some MTA installed on the system. Usually Linux is distributed with Sendmail or Postfix.
I you haven't some MTA isntalled on your system try to download Postfix or Qmail and install it. (IMHO Postfix will is easy configurable).

If is there another purpose please specify it.
