Anyone has any guide for creating a shell script to display a color menu?

I donīt know how to set the color, but may be I can help with some
sceenattributes :
tput cup 10 10 , positioned the courser in row 10 at column 10
tput blink , all characters are flashing behind the command "blink"
tpur sgr0 , reset the "blink command"
tput rev , all characters are in revers order
tput rev , again , reset the "rev command"
