Unix Printing

I am trying to print on a Unix printer. For some reason it always prints at 12 point. I need it to print at 8 point. There is no option with lp or lpr to change the font size. Is there any way to change the font size.

I tired using enscript, but it did not work for some reason.

pay attention to '-o' options [in particular cpi=<number>]
