Problems with sql in visual studios

I currently have an access database and the connection to the database works fine until you try to edit, delete or add new record. Im just used the checkboxs that if offered me for these functions but they dont work. Can anyone help out with this problem because i really need to fix it but dunno how to do it.

They work fine for me. Must be your copy of visual studio.

i want to know, wheter it is necessary to install sql server 2008 before installing visual studio or it will work even if i install after intalling visual studio?
Please help i am trying this for 10th time becoz i there was problem of connection with sql serer 200, 2005 was installing always with errors on my laptop.
now i want to give my best shot... thanx for help
