Iam a newbee moving out from msaccess

i have decided to use vb 2008 as front end and mysql as backend
iam just beginning to learn the basics

i have a a very basic question...
iam trying to do a afterupdate event for a combobox...
iam not finding this event
plz help me..
plz also suggest me a tutorial
